Life Extension Two-Per-Day Multivitamin - 120 Capsules

Life Extension Two-Per-Day Multivitamin - 120 Capsules
Life Extension Two-Per-Day Multivitamin is a high-potency multivitamin and mineral food supplement in 120 capsules, giving a 60-day supply at two capsules per day, with 19 nutrients at or above the EU source threshold.
This is the European formulation of Two-Per-Day, item 02314EU, built to EU ingredient standards for food supplements. It differs from the North American version of the same product, so the figures on this page are taken from the EU label in front of us rather than from the US spec. Nutrient percentages below are EU Nutrient Reference Values, not US Daily Values.
Two-Per-Day is a broad-coverage daily multivitamin rather than a high-dose single-nutrient product. Several ingredients that get a lot of attention on the brand's marketing are present in small supporting amounts: 100 mg of magnesium as magnesium oxide, 5 mg of quercetin, 25 mg of alpha lipoic acid, 50 mg of inositol. If you are buying specifically for magnesium or quercetin, a dedicated single-ingredient product will give you far more per serving. It also contains no iron, no calcium as a declared nutrient, no copper and no vitamin K.

Frequently asked questions
What is Life Extension Two-Per-Day Multivitamin?
It is a broad-spectrum multivitamin and mineral food supplement taken as two capsules per day. This bottle contains 120 capsules, which is 60 servings. Alongside the vitamins and minerals it includes beta-carotene, alpha lipoic acid, inositol, boron, lycopene, a Bio-Quercetin blend and an Aztec marigold flower extract.
Why does this label differ from the one on the Life Extension US website?
Life Extension makes two versions of Two-Per-Day. The one we stock is the European formulation, item 02314EU, which has been built to EU ingredient standards for food supplements. Compared with the North American version it contains less vitamin B6, thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, zinc, selenium, vitamin A and vitamin D, and it does not contain apigenin. If you have read the US supplement facts online, the figures will not match this product. Everything published on this page is taken from the EU label.
How long does one bottle last?
Sixty days. The serving is two capsules and there are 120 capsules in the bottle, so 60 servings. Life Extension recommends splitting the two capsules across two meals rather than taking both at once.
Is 10 mg of vitamin B6 a high amount?
It is well above the EU Nutrient Reference Value of 1.4 mg, which is why it shows as 714% NRV. For context, EFSA set a tolerable upper intake level for vitamin B6 of 12 mg per day for adults in 2023, so this product sits below that ceiling from this source. The label carries the standard advisory that long-term intakes of vitamin B6 may lead to mild tingling and numbness. If you take other supplements containing vitamin B6, add up your total daily intake.
Does it contain iron?
No. There is no iron in this formula, and calcium, copper and vitamin K are not declared nutrients either. If you have been advised to take iron, you will need a separate product. Vitamin C is present at 470 mg and vitamin C increases iron absorption, which is an authorised claim for vitamin C.
Is it suitable for vegetarians or vegans?
The capsule shell is hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, a plant-derived cellulose, so there is no gelatine in the capsule. We do not list this product as vegetarian or vegan, because the label does not state the source of the cholecalciferol (vitamin D) or of the magnesium salts of fatty acids used as an anti-caking agent, and cholecalciferol is commonly derived from lanolin. We are confirming both with the supplier and will state the position here once we have it in writing rather than infer it.
Can I take this if I am pregnant or trying to conceive?
The label states that this product contains vitamin A and should not be taken if you are pregnant or likely to become pregnant, except on the advice of a doctor or antenatal clinic. It also states that beta-carotene should not be taken by heavy smokers. Please speak to your GP, pharmacist or antenatal clinic before taking this or any supplement if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy.
How much magnesium and quercetin does it actually contain?
Magnesium is 100 mg per two capsules, supplied as magnesium oxide, which is 27% NRV. Quercetin is 5 mg, within a 15 mg Bio-Quercetin blend. Both are supporting amounts in a broad multivitamin rather than therapeutic single-ingredient doses. If magnesium or quercetin is your main reason for buying, a dedicated single-ingredient supplement will give you considerably more per serving.
Are there any other precautions?
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any prescribed medicines. The label advises consulting your doctor or pharmacist immediately if you experience symptoms of low blood sugar such as sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness or confusion. Keep out of reach of children, do not exceed the recommended daily dose, and do not use if the outer seal is broken or damaged.
How is it delivered, and will there be customs charges?
We hold stock in our own warehouse in Dublin and dispatch by DPD for next-working-day delivery across Ireland on orders placed before our daily cut-off. Because the product ships from within Ireland, there are no customs charges or import duties on Irish orders.
